I want create a gallery wall with a frame work hanging own the wall. In the framed work there will be a projected silhouette image of a mouse running on a wheel. The light will flicker along the same pace as the mouse movements. The flicker light will simulate the illusion of the mouse keeping the light on by its perpetual running on the wheel. I was inspired to create this idea by the first part of the reading claiming that traditional modes of concept could be use by fascism. The mouse representing the proletariat and the viewer representing the bourgeoisie. I'm debating on using a real mouse and generator or a zoetrope.
second idea
inspired by Winsor McCay and PEZ. Make moving still life painting with stop motion animation. I will use a combination hand drawn lines, paint, and photographs and real objects.
It's pretty straight forward. I think I would only need three piece of mylar, a table, camera, photographs, a orange, and a vase of flowers.
third idea
sculpture of frames projecting out of a box. An image would be projected onto the ceiling. Each frame would have a color and image and the light will flow through the each frame. The final image on the ceiling will be an image. The sculpture will be conceptually make a painting out of light and video on the ceiling.
